Two Towns

Two Towns is made up of Zac Young and Hunter Myers, two musicians who have set out to become the biggest band in New England. They have had a successful go of meeting this goal thus far. With their combined work ethics Two Towns will play roughly 100 shows just this summer. This has allowed them to move closer to their goal of making it big while making a living off their music.

Two Towns started their music careers individually. Young was kicked out of middle school band for abusing the instruments so his introduction to playing with others was short-lived. Luckily that was not the end of his musical journey. He had a family member who played music and Young shadowed them.Young spent time in and out of various bands; making albums, and playing shows. As a person who loves attention and having the spotlight on him it made sense to go into a career where he got to be in front of crowds.  Later he connected with Myers who shared a love of music. Myers, was the opposite of Young in regards to school band. He excelled in his school's percussion section then from there he picked up the guitar. After finally earning enough money to buy new music equipment Myers has been stuck in a "loop of cool". Having the tools to make his ideas come out exactly as he envisioned has made him insanely interested in music.

Two Towns makes music that does not necessarily stick to a genre, rather their music is held together with a similar general feeling from song to song. They show off the fact they make music for everyone with their upcoming album, 'Shell City', that will be out on August 14. The record has a folk song, a country song, a pop song and a rock song as well as a few other songs that mix those genres. Each song on the album is a result of the duo having fun. None of their music is too serious, after all they make music because it is a fun process.
