Ryan Fitzgerald

Ryan Fitzgerald has wanted to be a musician since he was four years old. He grew up listening to the classic rock bands his father played all the time. One day he saw a video of Foo Fighter's 'Learn To Fly' and thought it would be cool to learn every instrument in the song in order to play the entire song all by himself just as Dave Grohl did on Foo Fighter's first album.

Fitzgerald is indirectly inspired by the rock bands his dad introduced to him at an early age; groups like Queen and Aerosmith. "While I don't think about it too much as I'm writing music, I think everything going on in the world around me plays a role in what I write," says Fitzgerald on his source of inspiration.

Wanting to be a musician since he was four years old, Fitzgerald started lessons young. He took drum lessons from the time he was five until about a year ago. He is entirely self-taught on bass and guitar and is currently taking saxophone lessons. He takes everything he has learned and is learning and turns it into a sound that is very much his own. Fitzgerald has been working on a lot of instrumental music, but is not sure when or if anything will be released. He has been working with a good friend for the last two years creating music that they are eager to share with everyone.

Fitzgerald is a perfectionist. Recording music can pose a bit of a challenge, as he will record entire tracks if one note sounds like it might be slightly off. It takes a lot of hard work for him to make a track he is proud of, but even if he does not love the final product he had a good time with the process.
