Hudson Haining

Solo artist Hudson Haining grew up going to concerts at the Nashville Symphony where his parents worked during his early childhood. Attending these concerts made Haining want to be a part of the music world. At the time, being part of this world seemed big and far away when he was a child, but the music world has become a home for Haining.

Haining does not remember a time in his life where he was not making music. Haining's father was an actor who later became a musician. His father's career shaped Haining's life; being raised by an artist tends to make a person an artist.

Music provides him with a source of happiness while giving him a bit of a challenge. Haining makes music because of how much he loves it. He states he doesn’t know how to do anything but make art. Haining's music is simply everything he wants to say.

"My musical influences have changed a lot, faded away, and even come back out of the depths of forgotten realms in my mind," says Haining. In terms of other musicians his biggest sources of inspiration are Mom Jeans, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Tom Petty and more recently Jimi Hendrix. Outside of other musician's work, Haining finds inspiration in every little experience that makes him even remotely upset explaining that it gives him, "the golden opportunity to blow it out of proportion, giving me tons to write off of".

Haining is currently working on his first album; the first single of the album will be out in January. The album holds songs that range from "meditative to exciting, loud upbeat rock anthems". When Haining began writing the record he did not have a set theme or story, but as he progressed in the writing process he found that he was telling his personal journey. The album has an indie, sorta alternative sound that will perfectly carries Haining's story.
