Clavicle

Clavicle began as a small bedroom project that has since evolved into a full indie rock band. Clavicle sounds like an early-mid 2000's light punk band in the best way possible. Clavicle makes the music that should soundtrack every coming of age movie. They seem to be incapable of putting out a bad song. Clavicle has been using quarantine to their advantage and using the time to make music. They are currently working on recording a new EP. The new EP will be a better representation of what Clavicle is sonically than their work that is currently on streaming platforms. Clavicle is aiming to have this new EP out by the end of summer 2020.
Clavicle is Wyatt Fritz and Briana Koser. The pair met in 2011 while playing in a church band; they quickly discovered their music tastes mixed together smoothly. The pair have always been writing and involved in music.
Fritz dove head first into music at a young age. He now takes inspiration from bands like Modern Baseball and Smashing Pumpkins. Playing music has always been the thing for Fritz. "I just wanna play to a [small] group of people in a dingy bar [rather than] a bunch of people who don't care," said Fritz. Koser got heavily into music in high school and has been in love with it since. She joined choir when she was 11, so she has been perfecting her vocals for quite some time, never losing interest. With their shared love of music it only made sense that Clavicle was formed.
The duo work their love of movies and TV into their music for Clavicle. Posting frequently on their Instagram account(@clavicletheband) movie recommendations. Even using a clip from "Freaks and Geeks" in the intro of their song "Expert Manipulator".
The ultimate goal for Clavicle is to write music about the things they love while also being able to create something the listener can relate to. It is all about expressing emotions in hopes of bringing people together.
Clavicle wants their shows to feel as inviting as possible. They want to use their faith for good and show everyone love. Clavicle is extremely welcoming, open minded and very thankful for everyone who listens to their music.
