Launcher

Launcher came to be when vocalist Dan Wityak and bassist Darragh Duff's former band Downers came to an end. When deciding to form a new band Wityak and Duff found their guitarist, Tony R. where all good musicians can be found: on Craigslist. Drummer Giuliano Scarfo became a part of Launcher after his previous band had played with Downers.
Launcher makes loud, fast, heavy punk rock. Listeners can hear Launcher's love and need to play fast in their first record Bone Saw. Launcher brings the angst and anarchy of classic 1970's and 80's punk rock into a slightly more modern light with Bone Saw. Launcher put out their LP in March of this year and it is available on all streaming services. The lyrics of each song on Bone Saw are observations off everyday life. "Our song Fish Oil is a good example of this," says Wityak. "Ever think about vitamin culture? The weirdness of popping pills with no proof they do anything. It is totally inspiring."
Bone Saw was put out in March on Wanda Records. A German label that was founded right at the start of the punk revolution in 1966.
Along with musical aspects of punk rock, Launcher is seemingly drawn to the culture of punk rock. Playing shows on a friend's back yard quarter pipe while a handful of people skated around them. Drinking a beer in a parking lot behind the venue they just played. Launcher is also drawn to the fashion of punk rock.
