Victor Frankenstein

Victor Frankenstein is an alternative rock band from New York City that is all about having fun. Made up of bassist Mike Cerruti, vocalist and guitarist Justin Patricolo, guitarist Josh Daghir, and on drums, with a perfectly fitting last name: Kyle Drumheller. Their music is heavily inspired by blues and psychedelia. Everyone in the band is really nice and quite funny; they encourage their fans to come hang out with them at shows. They aren't as somber and quiet as their music makes them seem.
The members of Victor Frankenstein are kind of self taught. Justin Patricolo, was taught by his father, a jazz musician. In high school Justin began to find his own playing style and eventually moved away from lesson's from his father. Kyle Drumheller is 100% self taught. As a kid he would play "drums" on pillows, dresser drawers, a borrowed snare and a tambourine taped to a desk until he eventually graduated to a real drum set. Josh Daghir was taught guitar in a mixed effort from his grandfather and his high school music teacher.
Victor Frankenstein's music forces you to live in the moment. The listener has to take a moment and really listen to the song to get the full effect. Victor Frankenstein is not for passive listening. The band makes poetry hard hitting by setting it to music in the "grooviest way possible".
Victor Frankenstein encourages people to be inspired, create something. It is extremely satisfying to create something out of nothing. Their goal as a band is to just keep making stuff, everyone in the band has a day job but they do not let that get in the way of making music.
