Kill Vargas

In the game Guitar Hero you can create your own songs, so after discovering this when they were 8-9 Griffin and Logan Bush and their friend Austin Engler created an entire album of songs on Guitar Hero. The trio would make their songs on Guitar Hero then Griffin Bush would sing into an MP3 player set next to their tv speaker. After spending hours playing with some instruments that Austin Engler's father, a church musician, had they each learned how to play their instrument. Engler took up bass, Griffin Bush learned guitar and continued singing, and Logan Bush took up drums. Soon, their messing around and learning their instruments became a rock band they called Kill Vargas. 
Kill Vargas, while being a rock band, calls their latest record Laugh It Off "power pop". As of right now the band's biggest inspirations are Arctic Monkeys,  Wavves, and Twin Peaks. However, their inspirations are forever changing and each member of Kill Vargas has their own rolodex of inspirations to add to the band's sound. 
The boys have called their sound, "Energetic, catchy, classy Party rock" or alternatively "Sad party rock n roll". Maybe you'll call their music something along those lines or something completely different, but you'll have to listen to find out. Kill Vargas is based in Wichita, Kansas. The band just wrapped their October tour, but you can listen to them until they play live again. Luckily, they'll be on a short tour with Salt Creek in November. Check out their Instagram (@killvargasmusic) for all the dates.
