Sonic Eater

When you hear the name "Sonic Eater" you might think of an intimidating cartoon or children's book villain that gets it's powers through eating. That is exactly the idea behind the name Sonic Eater. He's inspired by anime and children literature; he hopes to one day write a children's book.
Musician Julian aka Sonic Eater plays what he calls "music for pondering". His intention is that people listen to his music and think about everything whether it's sad or happy.
Julian grew up listening to his father play guitar and he took an interest in it after a while. His brother played in a band; seeing his brother play peaked his interest even more. His current project, Sonic Eater, is a result of just wanting to write because to him writing is therapeutic. Writing helps keep him sane and points his life in a direction that is productive and meaningful. To Julian being able to write a good song even when you are having extreme self doubt gives you loads of self value and a sense purpose. He simply cannot function without music; it is lucky for him that he's so gifted when it comes to music.
Sonic Eater finds inspiration in an abundance of different artists and bands. However, his strongest inspirations are Grizzly Bear, Nick Drake, and Joni Mitchell.
Sonic Eater can be found on all major streaming services. He currently has no plans to play any live shows, he would like to in the future, but until then you'll just have to listen to him on Spotify and follow him on Instagram @soniceatermusic.
