Peach Pyramid

Jen Severston, Adrian Heim, and Rowan Mackenzie make up the Canadian band Peach Pyramid. The band is based in Victoria, British Columbia. You can see them at their upcoming shows that are far away from their home base. Peach Pyramid plays at the End of The Road Festival in the United Kingdom on August 29th followed by a set on August 31st at the Sounds Of Bronkow Music Festival in Germany. To wrap up their short tour of Europe Peach Pyramid will be playing at Sofar Sounds in Brighton.
Peach Pyramid was formed shortly after Jen Severston moved to Victoria three years ago. Jen Severston has always had an affinity for performing and singing. She remembers yelling along to Shinia Twain on long car rides and singing Britney Spears into her hairbrush. Severston moved with a collection of partially finished songs that she worked with on Garage Band until she was ready to share the songs with possible band mates. Severston found drummer Adrian Heim who had drummed in many different bands in the Victoria area and thought his playing style meshed perfectly with her's. She later found Rowen Mackenzie about a year after; she had played guitar and bass in various projects in Victoria. Mackenzie has been working with Heim and Severston ever since then.
Their name comes from a literal pyramid of peaches. They'd simply bought way too many peaches. So, obviously the only smart thing to do was to build a pyramid out of peaches on their kitchen table
Peach Pyramid play what they describe as "dreamy laid back indie pop". Their description certainly fits. They take inspiration from bands such as Bahamas, Real Estate, Feist and War On Drugs. You can listen to Peach Pyramid's music on Spotify and experience the dreamy indie pop for yourself. You can also follow them on Instagram @peach.pyramid.
