Craig Brown Band

Craig Brown Band is Derek Warren, Randy Molina, Jeff Else, Bonnie and Caitlin Drinkard, and Craig Brown.
Craig Brown had recorded a 45 completely by himself; he played everything on the single. His friend Jeff Fournier booked a gig in Hamtramck, Michigan for a Labor Day Parade. After a bit of confusion Brown told Fournier that he did not have a band. So, Fournier told Craig Brown to "get one" and he did just that. The line up has changed a bit since then, but it's remained the fun band all thanks to Jeff Fournier.
Craig Brown Band are not entirely sure what genre they would fit in. However, with Craig Brown's favorite aspects of music being "shred guitars and squeezes and rock bends" they certainly lean towards rock n roll. They take inspiration from classic rock n roll bands Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Grateful Dead, and Gene Clark of the Byrds. Craig Brown Band also takes inspiration from doo-wop and soul girl group The Shirelles. As well as country artist Dwight Yoakam. You can listen and decide for yourself which of their inspirations shine through in their sound the most.
Listen to Craig Brown Band on most streaming services or you can order their record from Third Man Records out of Detroit. They will be playing at the MOPOP festival on July 28th. Craig Brown Band will also be doing a small tour with Death Valley Girls in August then in September they will be playing some festivals in Spain.
