Snair

Snair is a band of brothers; with Ernie Snair on guitar and vocals, Michael Snair on Guitar, Bo Snair on bass, and their step-brother Gary Bartlett on drums. Starting out in their home town of Detroit the brothers headed west to California with nothing but their leathers and their Marshall amps. Snair played their first gig before moving west, at the first annual Ranch Round Up in Detroit in 1980. Since moving out west the band has earned the epitaph "The West Coast Ramones".
For Ernie Snair music has always been a girls thing. The first time he realized he liked music he was playing for a few girls at a very young age. Besides the ladies, Snair finds the push and pull effect that you get while playing magnetic. This push and pull effect he describes is the musician filling the crowd with sound and in favor the crowd filling the musican with energy. As long as the show continues this push and pull continues. Ernie Snair believes that sometimes you can do no harm with music. Sometimes there is only getting sucked into the magnetism of the music, into the magic of music.
Snair has disbanded since moving to California. Ernie Snair now works at the Santa Clarita Harley store as the manager and plays in the band The Loveless. You can find the Loveless on Facebook as well as Ernie Snair. As for the band Snair, their music only survives on hard copy. If you ever find yourself in Santa Clarita, California be sure to stop by and talk music with Ernie Snair, he has millions of stories he'll share with you.
