Quiet Arches

Quiet Arches is a duo based in England. They mix elements of indie, pop, and psych pop making a well rounded, yet laid back indie pop sound. Quiet Arches is a fresh band, having only met in September 2018. The two met while guitarist and vocalist Henry Charles was working in a coffee shop. John Arthur and Henry Charles then went out for a beer, the pair immediately hit it off while discussing demos and such.
John Arthur got into music on accident although it makes perfect sense; he has loved music and music production for quite a while. Arthur is completely self taught; on piano, guitar, and in production. As for Henry Charles it also makes sense that he has a love for music, seeing as his father is a jazz musician and he was raised in a home with a music room.
Together Quiet Arches takes inspiration from English indie pop band The XX's, as well as English pop artist James Bay. Individually they have their own influences. Charles takes inspiration from small indie bands like Pimp Bloom, Porches, and Codeline. While Arthur takes influence from bigger pop names: Charlie Puth, Dean Louis, and Lewis Capaldi.
You can listen to Quiet Arches on every major streaming service. Be sure to follow them on Instagram @quietarches for release and eventual show dates. Quiet Arches are working hard to get more music together before they play a gig. All of their music contains underlying themes of the message. The message being: it's okay to talk about your mental health.
