The Black Tones

The Black Tones is fronted by Seattle's very own Eva Walker. On drums is her twin brother Cedric David and supporting them on bass is Ezekiel Lords.
Before The Black Tones, Eva Walker would sneak out and sing at open mic nights. After a while she finally invited her brother to watch her perform. A few months after being moved to tears by her performance, Cedric David became inspired by his sister who taught him how to play drums.
Eva Walker met Ezekiel Lords when she began working at the School of Rock. The Black Tones have gone through a number of bassists, but Lords seems to groove the best.
For Eva Walker music is the only thing, besides family, that she's ever truly loved. Growing up she heard music in everything, whether that was in the sounds of a leaf blower or the sounds of a car engine. She takes her inspiration from everything. From Jimi Hendrix to 70's Nigerian funk. As for Cedric David and Lords, they find Ms. Walker herself particularly inspirational. She tends to make a genuine connection with everyone she meets, she's manages to have a good time with everything she does no matter what.
You can find The Black Tones on most major streaming services and on Instagram @theblacktones.
