Laney
Laney is a solo artist from Florida who plays indie bedroom pop. She plays guitar, piano, ukulele, and knows a little on drums. When she plays shows she's got a lovely group of friends who help her share her music.
From a young age Laney has loved music. Starting at just 8 years old on piano and 10 years old on guitar. Laney has always had a dream of making a career for herself with her music. She never saw her dream as being possible until last year. With a year of hard work and determination Laney has released an EP.
Laney is lucky enough to have a brother who is a director and videographer. He was kind enough to work with her to make a video for her song small, the title song of her EP. The video captures the vibe of their childhood, which was spent outdoors and in the water with their parents.
Loving how music can strongly set a mood, regardless of the situation; Laney has been inspired by many different artists that do this so well. Among these artists are Miles Davis, Animal Collective, She & Him, and The Smiths. Laney is continuing to work hard on perfecting and sharing her music and hopes she can continue to do so for a long time.
