The Lovely Eggs
Living in a small town and rebellion... the perfect environment to create a musician. The environment in which The Lovely Eggs was created. Holly and David Blackwell are self taught musicians from Lancaster, England. With Holly Blackwell on guitar and David Blackwell on drums, the duo makes up The Lovely Eggs. Self described as "Lancashire psych punk rock", The Lovely Eggs are a trout rock band from the UK.
Whether it was Holly Blackwell playing at the Morecambe Super-dome for a Battle of the Bands or David Blackwell playing on the streets of Lancaster for tips; they have both grown as musicians. In 2018 The Lovely Eggs played a sold out show at The 100 Club and a full tent at the Green Man Festival. Between the free booze and their love of music The Lovely Eggs have a lot of motivation to continue playing music . They will be playing a few festivals in 2019.
