Anxious Admirals

Energetic, progressive, careless, fun, entertaining- the Anxious Admirals. Lead singer and guitarist Nolan Harris, organ player Robert Jensen, drummer Zac Johnston and bassist Colin Gotschale make up the Anxious Admirals. Getting into music was all their parent's doing, they grew up listening to the stuff their parents were listening to and running with it. After hearing The Doors' When the Music's is Over organ player Robert Jensen sat at his piano until he could play it, this got him into the organ. Nolan Harris began piano lessons at age 8, then began playing banjo and bass at age 9. Harris got a very early start playing in bands at age 10. Drummer, Zac Johnston also got the same early start, beginning to drum at age 10.  Music has always been a part of their lives, something that's strongly ingrained in them. For the Anxious Admirals it's something that will always be a part of them no matter what anyone says.
The Stockton, California based band takes inspiration from bands like The Velvet  Underground, MGMT, and The Doors. The Anxious Admirals play slow, heavy, and anyway in between. The Anxious Admirals write and play whatever they like in the moment, never worrying about a genre.
The band has plans to release an EP in the near future. Check the Anxious Admirals out on all streaming services and follow them on Instagram @theanxiousadmirals.
