The Hails

The Hails are an alternative/indie rock band formed at the University of Florida. The Hails are made up of bassist Andre Escobar, vocalist Robbie Kingsley, drummer Zach Levy, guitarist Dylan McCue, and guitarist and vocalist Franco Solari. After being introduced to classic rock by their parents, they decided they wanted to be musicians. They use music as a way to get their voices out there. The Hails play music in hopes to reach people and tell their story. Aiming to give people songs that stick with them and remind them of good times, bad times, and every moment in between.
With a technically grammatically incorrect name, The Hails take their inspiration from a plethora of different artists. As individuals they have much different tastes, therefore, much different inspirations. As a group, The Hails take inspiration from artists such as the Beatles, Frank Ocean, and John Mayer.
The Hails have gone from playing a local gig with a set list made up of mostly covers to playing a sold out gig. The Hails are booked to play at the Brooklyn Bazaar in Brooklyn, New York on March 2, 2019, with a set list of their own songs.
The Hails hold a love of music that's been with them since birth. With a "Screw a real job" mentality The Hails have been able to focus on their music and make something out of it. You can listen to them on Spotify, Apple Music, and almost any other streaming services. Check them out on Instagram @the_hails.
